Los nominados Oscar 2012
En la mañana del miércoles 25, el presidente de la Academia Tom Sherak y la actriz Jennifer Lawrence “Mística de X – Man”, dieron a conocer los nominados para la 84ª entrega de los Oscar.
El 26 de febrero la Academia presentará un show para entregar los premios en vivo.
Sorprendió a muchos las nominaciones de este año, los más ausentes son Cars 2, Las Aventuras de Tin Tin y Leonardo Di Caprio por su interpretación de J. Edgar. Otra sorpresa fueron los dos mexicanos, la primera nominación para Demian Bichir (A Better Life) como Mejor Actor y la quinta para Emannuel Lubezki a Mejor Fotografía (The Tree Of Life). Aunque Spielberg no logro colarse en Mejor Película de Animación, se postuló para Mejor Película del Año con War Horse, recientemente estrenada en nuestro país.
A eso agreguémosle que ahora son 9 los candidatos en contienda y este año los más nominados son: Hugo con 11 nominaciones, The Artist con 10, War Horse y Moneyball con 6, The Descendants y The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo con 5 cada una, The Help con 4 y con 3 nominaciones Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2, Midnight in Paris, The Tree of Life, Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy, Transformers: Dark of the Moon y Albert Nobbs.
Meryl Streep ha conseguido 17 nominaciones a lo largo de su exitosa carrera de las cual ha obtenido solamente 2 estatuillas y este año podría ganar la tercera por The Iron Lady, papel que le valió un Golden Globe hace unas semanas. Con casi 200 largometrajes en 60 años de carrera Christopher Plummer obtiene su segunda nominación como Mejor Actor de Reparto por Beginners con el que obtuvo su Golden Globe, de igual manera debutan este año en los Oscars: Gary Oldman, Demián Bichir, Michel Hazanavicius, Jean Dujardin, Rooney Mara, Jessica Chastain, Melissa McCarthy, Octavia Spencer, Jonah Hill.
